Vans/PlayStation World Championships
October 5-8, 2000
Oceanside, CA. At the Pier

$127,000 PURSE
STREET, VERT, and BOWL

As this is the Triple Crown Series final event. The overall points winner from all three Triple Crown events for Street and for Vert will receive an extra $10,000 for their efforts. The top overall winner in points be it street or vert will win a brand new Ford Ranger Truck. Leading the series for vert is Bob Burnquist with 200 points, followed by Andy Macdonald with 165 points. In Steet, Kerry Getz is leading with 135 points followed closely by Jesse Paez with 120 points. The top girl from overall points will receive an all expense paid trip for 2 to Hawaii for the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing event.

Mike Mapp and his crew at Ramp Tech are building a new vert ramp with 11’6" transitions and 2’ of vert. After the success of the street course in Cleveland, Mike is adding to the design to make it even better at Oceanside. We at WCS look forward to seeing everyone in Oceanside.
