I grew up on the eastern part of long island in NY. Being near the beach, I was exposed to sk8ing and surfing at a young age. And was eventually addicted... In the beginning I mainly sk8ed street. But before I was out of high school, I had built a vert ramp in my yard. And over the past 14 years I have been on what seems like a perpetual road trip. Sometimes spending months at a time in my van. Somehow I found time to get a Geology degree from the University Of Colorado in Boulder in 96' (where most of my time was spent at the sk8 park). I don't know what else to say... When I'm not helping build parks, or going to contests and demo's, or just plain sk8ing I like to surf, rock climb and play chess.
