The "Young Guns" finals were insane today. Cristiano Mateus amazed the crowd with a flawless first run backed up by an even better second run to take the win and $4000. Second place went to Brian Patch and third was taken by local boy Adil Dyani.
Rune Glifberg redeemed himself in best trick by taking first place followed by Chris Gentry and Cristiano Mateus.

Saturday June 10th
Women's Street finals concluded today and taking the win was Jessie Van with Cnaan Omer taking second and Lindsi Thompson taking third.
Lance Mountain won Masters Bowl for the second year in a row. Taking second was Craig Johnson and third went to Richard Stiles.
"Young Guns" prelims were dominated by Adil Dyani. The top 5 made the cut into tomorrows finals where they will join the top 5 pre qualifiers from last year.

Friday June 9th
What a day at the beach. The Masters went off in qualifying with a suprise visit from big Ben Schroeder and last years casualty Dave Reul qualifying 1st, how's that for redemption. The finals tomorrow should be exciting with the 5 skaters that qualified and Mr. Lance Mountain, last years champion.
The best trick competition was a guaranteed eye full with skaters like Geoff Rowley, Arto Saari, Pat Channita, Jon Comer and Chad Vogt stomping 3 obstacles.
Tomorrow should be a blast starting with Women's Street, Master's Bowl finals and the Young Guns Bowl Shootout (Prelims). Check back tomorrow night for results and video. |
