WCS INVITATION SYSTEM FOR THE ESPN X GAMES 2001
The X Games for 2001 will feature 20 skaters in park and 20 skaters in vert along with 10 teams for vert doubles. Invitations will based on the following
The Winners of the following 2000 competitions will automatically qualify, if a skater wins more than one of the following events, we will offer the invitation to the 2nd place skater, etc.
1. ESPN X Games, San Francisco, CA Aug. 17 21, 2000
2. Vans Triple Crown Finals, Oceanside, CA Oct. 5 8, 2000
3. Brazil World Cup, Sao Paulo, Brazil Nov. 10 12, 2000
The top 5 skaters from WCS World Rankings 2000 will automatically qualify, if a skater in the top 5 is qualified previously from one of the above competitions, we will invite the next ranked skater.
The top 2 skaters from the WCS North American Rankings 2000 will automatically qualify, if a skater in the top is qualified previously in one of the above categories, we will invite the next ranked skater.
The winner of the WCS European Rankings 2000 will automatically qualify, if he is qualified previously in one of the above categories, we will invite the next ranked skater.
The top skater outside of the qualified skaters from above will receive an invitation from the following WCS competitions in the year 2001 (subject to change).

5. X Trials #2 Bristol, CT June 15 17, 2001 6. World Championships Dortmund, Germany June 30-July 1, 2001
8. Mystic Sk8 Cup Prague, Czech Republic July 5-8, 2001
9. European X Games Qualifier Barcelona, Spain July 16 - 22, 2001
